Original ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL GMT-MASTER II 16760 "FAT LADY", COKE BEZEL, RARE MARK I "SPIDER" DIAL STAINLESS STEEL watch, made in 1984. The watch is in a fully working order and is an absolute treasure for GMT enthusiasts.

This model features an original rare to find Mark I "Spider" dial without "Date" word after "Perpetual". Time has altered the black color of the dial of this model to give it a "cobweb" effect. In fact, due to this characteristic the name given to this model is "Spider Dial". This peculiarity of the paint which turns into a "spider's web" is highly appreciated by Rolex collectors, and occurs especially in watches with a "circular edged index" dial made in the 1984 only.

Covered by a sapphire crystal, and second time zone hand with nice patinated hour markers, signed "Rolex", "Oyster Perpetual Date", "GMT-Master II", "Superlative chronometer officially certified", "Swiss-T<25". Central yellowish patinated hour, minute and seconds hands, and date at 3 o'clock.

Black and red color of faded "Coke" bi-directional rotatable 24-hour graduated bezel also emphasizes the venerable age of the watch. It's mounted on a 40mm (1,57 inch) stainless steel case excluding the crown and 48mm (1,88 inch) from lug to lug is in good condition, with surface scratches that are to be expected on any vintage watch of this age. The stainless steel winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Rolex” logo.

Original papers was stamped with date 09.07.1988 and filled on Japanese language. It means that first purchase of this watch was in Japan on 9th July 1988. In those years, Rolex watches didn't have such a crazy hype as today, and the watch could stand in the store window for several years.

The watch has unpolished condition that's very important for collectors.
