circa 1960, sold on February 3, 1961.
Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an independently adjustable hour hand.
Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives.
Three-body, solid, polished and brushed,
flat bezel, concave lugs, band bearing two
buttons activating the hour hand forward and
backward for different time zones, snap-on
case back engraved: I.S. RAVDIN MD.
Matte silver with applied yellow gold
indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold
dauphine hands.
Cal. 12-400 HS, stamped twice with the
Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated,
fausses-côtes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-
line lever escapement, monometallic balance
adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5
positions, shock absorber, blued steel Breguet
balance spring, swan-neck micrometer
regulator.
