MINUTE REPEATER YELLOW GOLD
Girard Perregaux. Case No. 326334. Made circa 1900.
Very fine and very rare, heavy, minute-repeating, 18K
yellow gold, keyless hunting-cased pocket watch.
Accompanied by the original Girard-Perregaux box.
Four-body, bassine, polished, cover with emboss
and hand engraved two birds set with diamond and
rubies(custom made). Hinged gold cuvette.
White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute
track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XV
hands.
Cal. 43 mm. rhodium-plated, 22 jewels, straight-
line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued
steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating
on gongs with two polished steel hammers by
activating slide in the band.
