Made circa 1900.
Very fine, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter-repeating,
14K pink gold pocket watch with single button chronograph
Five-body, bassine et filets, solid, polished, gold hinged cuvette
with medal engravings.
White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute and
1/5th seconds graduation with 5-second Arabic markers, sunk
subsidiary seconds dial. Gilt Louis XV hands.
40 mm. gilt brass, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 25 jewels,
straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation
balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, chronograph mechanism,
repeating on gongs activated by a push-button on the
band, centrifugal governor.
