This was the first time Rolex introduced a coloured bezel to the Submariner. Collectors have since given the model the affectionate nickname Kermit. As well as having a green bezel, the watch comes with a black Maxi dial featuring larger hands and hour markers. Not everything got bigger with the Kermit, the case has a slimmer profile, which helps suit to smaller wrist sizes. Production of the 16610LV ran until 2010, when it was replaced by its bigger brother the 'Hulk' 116610LV.
