Our car was first supplied by the Houston, Texas, Unites States Porsche dealership in 1995 and has only 59.821 miles on the odometer. The car still looks great. Its “Indisch Rot” (Indian Red) finish is as bound to Porsche as is its 6-cylinder boxer engine. The bodywork is in good shape. The panel-gaps are correct and the panelwork itself is nice and thin. The car also has the benefit of a third rear brake light. The black hood shuts neatly and is in good condition. Naturally, the tonneau cover forms part of the itinerary. We also would like to point out the car’s fine, undamaged, original wheels.

Inside the car, you will find fine beige coloured leather and light-coloured carpets. This colour scheme gives the impression of space and is less prone to becoming hot compared to black leather interiors. As the 911 is a luxury sports car you will not be disappointed by its features. This Porsche 993 has leather upholstery, an electrically operated hood, seats, mirrors and windows, air-conditioning and cruise control.

Luxury is all well and good but you really buy a 911 for the unique way it drives. This example is perfectly up to the task. The car has a 3.6 litre 6-cylinder boxer engine coupled to a manual 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces 272 Ps making this 993 a fast car even by today’s standards. The transmission is exact and has fine gear ratios. The suspension and brakes are in good order and give you the option of a comfortable drive or attacking your favourite road.
