Description

- Odometer shows less than 6,000 Kilometers
- Continues to be an attractive choice among luxury sports cars
- Impressive condition commensurate with very low mileage
- It really is a collectors example in a unique condition
- A quintessential British Grand Tourer
- The XK 8 coupé debuted at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show with the 4.2-litre V8 engine of its predecessor

The XK 8 is noted for its all-aluminum construction and its styling by Ian Callum, with details evoking prominent earlier Jaguar models, e.g., the Sayer nose recalling the XP/11 sports racing prototype of 1953 and adopted for the D-type — and the grill located badge recalling the E-type.

A facelifted XK was launched in 2009 with a new 5.0-litre V8.

In March 2011, on the launch of the XKR-S at the Geneva Motor Show, Jaguar revealed the details of a facelift for the XK.

The new specification included front and rear styling changes and internal trim changes with navigation system and a backup camera included as standard equipment.

The production of the XK ended in July 2014 without a replacement model with a total production just under 54,000 units.

ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC EXAMPLE

This Jaguar XK 8 is not just an ordinary XK 8.

Due to the extremely low mileage, the Jaguar is exterior and interior wise in a wonderful and impressive condition. Truly a collectors condition.

It has been very tastefully specified in a classic dark green metallic with a brown leather interior.

As in any Jaguar, comfort is a priority. The front seats adjust 12 ways and include heating and cooling. The power tilt-and-telescoping wheel is also heated, which is welcome on frosty mornings.

Due to the low kilometres the paintwork is in excellent order with hardly a blemish to note. There are even no stonechips.

The overall exterior condition is very nice. The car does almost not show any signs of use.

CONDITION INTERIOR

The Jaguar XK’s cockpit is a well-tailored, contemporary environment with all the bells and whistles. Yet it also radiates an inviting atmosphere of upper-class comfort.

As in any Jaguar, comfort is a priority. The front seats adjust 12 ways and include heating and cooling. The power tilt-and-telescoping wheel is also heated, which is welcome on frosty mornings.

The seats as well as the complete interior looks as new. It is easy to see that one has taken care of the car.

DRIVING EXPERIENCE

The 2011 Jaguar XK provides the luxury and comfort expected from the legendary marque.

The nicest thing is off-course to drive with the XK 8. It feels special and substantive.

The sound is superb and the car is exceptionally handling.

The XK 8 is complete with service manual and the service has been done properly.
