Description

BMW E30 M3 a household name and rightly called "The Ultimate Driving Machine". The E30 M3 was the first purpose-built BMW to be designed and assembled in-house by the Motorsport division to challenge the competition in Group A competition. However, the regulations demanded that 5000 cars were also produced as proof that this was a production model. In 1986 the first M3 was put on public roads and this was an immediate hit. 200hp maybe peanuts now, but in the eighties this was serious.
The model had a perfectly balanced rear-wheel drive chassis and visually it was little to suggest that such performance was hidden under the body. Although this bodywork was completely different from the regular 3 series except for the hood, more aerodynamically designed and wider wheels and tires.
The four-cylinder S14 engine earned its place under the bonnet thanks to its weight and ability to run at higher revs than the heavier six-cylinder. The 2.3-liter, 16-valve engine could easily get you to 7300 rpm and peaked at 235km / h.
The production of this beautiful racer ended in 1991 and reached 18,000 cars of which only 786 convertible versions rolled off the line.
The beautiful M3 offered here is one of the last copies of the rare convertible version and in original condition. No after-market rims or spoilers to be found here, but a car that looks just as it did when it first stood in the showroom. And it still shines, the Diamond Black metallic paint is immaculate, as is the stylish gray interior, with the characteristic Race colors of the Bavarian Motorsport department here and there.
The car is perfectly maintained and has a fully completed maintenance booklet and all documents are present.
Get behind the wheel of this sports car and experience the driving sensation BMW is known for first hand. The maneuverability and smoothness with which this car roars on the roads is phenomenal, and therefore invites endless touring, and any reason will be good enough to get this car out of the stable.
