- Duralinox body
- High technology example
- Same owner since 1990
The Panhard Dyna Z produced between 1954 and 1959 is a sedan representative of the genius of post-war French engineers. Signed Louis Bionier, its rounded body has been studied in the wind tunnel to promote its aerodynamics. It is made of Duralinox, a mixture of aluminum, copper and manganese that weighs only 650 kg! The interior is spacious: two large benches welcome the whole family. The highly innovative on-board instrumentation is assembled on the steering column. On the mechanical side, the Dyna Z is a traction unit, powered by an air-cooled flat twin 850 cm3 developing 42 hp. In 1959, after having been produced in almost 140,000 copies, the Dyna Z gave way to the PL17.
Road registered on February 10, 1955, our Dyna Z1 is in good general condition, its bodywork was restored a few years ago and its interior is completely original. It is equipped with a flat twin 1617 which will have to be restarted.
