An Iso Grifo convertible, Fiat Shellette 850 Special, a smattering of staggeringly beautiful 1960s and ’70s motorcycles and a Prinoth snowcat with horse-hair upholstery. You only had to look at the diverse selection of exquisite vehicles exhibited on Stuart Parr’s stand at Rétromobile earlier this year to understand his deep-rooted and nuanced passion for Italian design. And by no means does his interest end there. The exuberant American designer, manager and architect is perhaps best known for producing the film 8 Mile, starring the rapper Eminem, and designing Clearhouse in Shelter Island and Marble House in New York.
