"On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a redesigned interior. The performance characteristics remained superb with reliability at its core. This Carrera 4S is the ultimate incarnation of Porsche's 996, it has the more desirable 3.6 litre engine coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.
This fabulous example is presented in the rare and striking colour of Speed Yellow. In 2016, the car was fitted with the more reliable X51 engine by Tech Speed in Germany at a vast cost of €11,280. Further performance enhancements were carried out in 2017, bringing the cars BHP to a mighty 341, at a cost of €7257.52 thus making this particular example much more of a drivers car and considerably more desirable. A service was last carried out in December 2018 by Riverside Performance Engineering at cost of £2067, the invoice for which can be found within the history file.
