Bonhams hits the barn find jackpot for its Beaulieu sale

On 1 September, Bonhams will present 124 collector cars at its Beaulieu sale, many of which were discovered lying dormant in barns across Europe, including a very well preserved Dino ‘Ferrari’ 308 GT4. These are our 10 favourites…

The auction’s highlights include a 1975 Dino ‘Ferrari’ 308 GT4 (est. £25,000–45,000) found in a garage in Ghent underneath a pile of towels and blankets – clearly stored by a thoughtful owner. Other attractive barn finds offered include a brace of Volvo P1800s that have been off the road since the late 1970s and would require brave and patient new owners if they’re the shine again. We also liked the regal 1924 Bentley 3 Litre formerly owned by the great watchmaker and car collector George Daniels (£250,000–300,000) and the brilliant yellow Ferrari Testarossa, which is estimated at a conservative £55,000–75,000, most likely owing to the fact its early history is unknown. You can find our 10 favourites from the sale, which takes place on 1 September at Beaulieu, listed below or, alternatively, browse the entire catalogue in the Classic Driver Market
