Zagato just designed a special edition M10 for Leica

For the very first limited edition of its M10 camera, Leica has teamed up with the century-old Italian coachbuilder Zagato to produce a run of 250 specially designed ‘Edition Zagatos’, which will retail for 18,000 euros each…

Limited to 250 pieces

Pairing German craftsmanship with Italian style, the new Leica M10 Edition Zagato was designed by Andrea Zagato himself and features rectangular strap lugs, a grey Leica logo, and an aluminium top deck, baseplate, outer casing, and grip trim (as opposed to leather on the standard camera). Combined, this innovative use of aluminium reduces the weight of the M10 by a noticeable 70 grams. In addition to the camera, which will ship with a Summilux-M 35mm lens, there will be a range of Zagato-branded accessories and a new volume of the book Leica and Zagato – Europe Collectibles. As far as we’re concerned, the only thing this stunning camera is missing is the signature Zagato ‘double bubble’…
