Our 10 favourite motorcycles from Auctionata's Racing Bikes sale

A deliciously mixed cocktail of two- and four-wheeled beauties, Auctionata’s latest sale serves up a broad selection of delectable machines. We’ve pored over the listings and chosen our 10 favourite (and predominantly Italian) motorcycles...

Classic racing highlights include the 1976 Yamaha TZ 250 C campaigned by Alfio Micheli (est. 12,000 euros) and the ex-Paolo Ferretti 1978 Laverda 500 (18,000 euros), among many other special motorcycles. There’s much for modern superbike enthusiasts to get excited about, too, with the monstrous Ducati Desmosedici RR (55,000 euros), 996 SPS (15,000 euros) and the snarling MV Augusta FV4 1078RR (13,000 euros) poised to cross the block. Also of particular note is the custom BMW K1000 RS/1 (9,000 euros), which curiously blurs the line between café racer and tracker. You can find the entire catalogue for the sale, taking place on 8 December in Berlin, listed in the Classic Driver Market.
