Rolex, "Sporting Prince Chronometer", Ref. 1883/1599. Produced
in 1932.
Very fine and extremely rare, rectangular curved, 18K yellow
gold and stainless steel hunting-cased gentleman's wristwatch.
Four-body, two-tone, "guilloché" cover with plain medallion
opening/closing by sliding it forwards and backwards (patented
system), stainless steel movement body, yellow gold outer body,
wire lugs.
Three-tone silver with geometrical designs, stylized painted
Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "bâton"
hands.
7 1/2''', Extra Prima, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, lateral lever
escapement, monometallic balance, 8 adjustments, self-compensating
Breguet balance-spring.
