Model History
It was manufactured between 1954 and 1959. Under the bonnet one could find an inline 6-cylinder engine with 2195cm3 of displacement and 84 hp. Power was delivered to the rear wheels by 4-speed manual gearbox. W180 series were a model range, called the „Pontons”. Its internal codename were 220A and 220S available as a Saloon, Cabrio and Coupé. 220A was larger, more luxurious version of 180 (W120). It was premiered in 1954, and until April 1956 there were 25 937 of them made. Its successor, model 220S, had an enhanced engine and solid front bumper (3-piece in 220A). The production lasted until July 1956, and there were 58 708 of them made.

Vehicle History
The Mercedes W120 220S offered by Ardor Auctions is one of the most iconic, classic designs of Mercedes. This particular car was imported from Sweden in 2014. It was honestly restored , which included painting the whole body and underbody protection. Upholstery was cleaned, reconditioned wooden elements are in a very good shape. Mercedes has got a lot of new parts: rear shocks, engine rubber mounts and fuel pump membranes. No longer than 2 months ago, there was also an oil service made. This car comes with complete service book.
