Description

A triple case pocket watch made for the Turkish market by George Prior. Signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement, numbered 13000 with verge escapement, pierced balance cock and tulip pillars. Gold champlevé dial with Eastern-Arabic numeral hour markers. Tortoiseshell outer case with gilt stud work, plain gilt middle case engraved with maker's mark IB, gilt inner case. 73mm.
