The Delta 4WD won all the major events in 1986, the year Group B cars were banned, and became World Champion in 1987, evolving from 1987 to 1992 through Integrale, Integrale 16V and finally Integrale Evoluzione guises. The Integrale''s engine was sourced from the two litre Fiat Croma Turbo, a unit originally designed by Aurelio Lampredi, the legendary engineer responsible for the V1
