The determination to leave no gap in their range of luxury high performance cars was the driving force by Bneltye to diversify by adding one more very specific model. Mullimner provided the clothes that covered the new Continental T. There existed no other passenger car on the planet which came near to the figures of 590 lbs of torque- with one exception, the Bentley Turbo R Sport. The Continental T was a 2+2 Coupe developed from the Continental R with a more athletic outwards appearance, being 100mm shorter and extended front and rear achers. The driver found an exuberant dashboard with chrome finished instruments providing a delicate reminiscience of the heyday of the British Racing Green Bentleys during their heroic racing period.
