Widely regarded as a design classic, especially after its celebrated appearance in the Dustin Hoffman film ‘The Graduate’, the 105/115 series Alfa Spider remained in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. .Following the success of the 1960s Duetto, in 1970 the first significant change to the exterior styling was introduced. The 1750 Spider Veloce was launched with a more conventional cut-off “Kamm-tail” in place of the distinctive elongated “Boat-tail”, offering greatly improved luggage space.
