The Best of Three Worlds in Valencia

For those considering an early getaway to the beaches of St Tropez or Sardinia, an event is being held during the middle of June that may well make for a change of plan. For two days in Valencia, the opportunity is being offered to sample on track, models from Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini. The title 'The Best of Three Worlds' soon gives the game away, and if that is not enough there is also one day with the America’s Cup 'Mascalzone Latino - Capitalia Team', one of the eleven boats challenging the winner of the 31st America’s Cup Team Alinghi.

Five-star accommodation has been booked at Las Arenas Balneario Resort, a superbly furnished hotel with luxurious bedroom suites, a fantastic health area and scenic view over the sea. Day one of the programme will consist of sailing with the America's Cup contender. During the day, guests will meet the team, take a guided tour of the boat, and observe its sea trials on board a separate craft. Lunch will be taken on dry land at the Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia base, prior to returning to the boats for the afternoon’s training.

On day two, guests will take to the track at the Ricardo Tormo Circuít Valencia. The 3.1 km circuit features a 876 metre straight for high speed testing, and it also has more than 100,000 m2 of run-off areas for safety and security. Guests will spend the whole day - with only a break for lunch - unleashing the power of a Bentley Continental GT or Continental Flying Spur, a Lamborghini Murciélago or Gallardo, and a Bugatti Veyron. With a professional driving consultant at their side, the participants will discover how the cars use advanced engineering to remain completely controllable even at high speeds.

The driving programme has been especially designed to take the guests and the cars to the limit - and safely back again. In between all this, guests will be able examine the brand new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 in the pits, as well as feeling the power of 1,001 bhp as they take their turn at laps on the small track. Bugatti’s own professional driver will then demonstrate the car’s true capabilities by performing high-speed circuits on the larger track.
