Diamonds Are Forever - and practical too!

Victorinox and Bonfort have produced the most expensive penknife in the world. The two Swiss companies have combined practicality with exclusivity in an exotic mix of 800 diamonds encrusting one of the most iconic images of the country.

Bonfort took the celebration of 120 years of Victorinox as a reason to create the ‘Collection Victoria’. Their craftsmen transformed the penknife (with all its regular working functions) into a platinum or yellow gold sparkling work of art.

The ‘Collection Victoria’ is limited to 120 pieces only worldwide and comprises two different Victorinox penknives with 11 or 7 functions (knife, corkscrew, can-opener, bottle-opener, screwdriver, awl, tweezers, scissors etc). The penknives can only be bought from selected jewellers (for example Bucherer in St Moritz), or directly from Bonfort at prices between 39.000 and 129.000 CHF. The first eight examples have been reserved.

The large penknives are based on the 91mm model and have 800 diamonds, totalling 21 carats, in a ‘Pavée’ pattern, while the smaller model is 74 mm long and has 429 (4 carats) diamonds placed in a vertical lines. The production of the former will be limited to 40 pieces, for the latter80 pieces.
