Ferrari-Maserati World Finals - October 2003

The Mugello circuit in Tuscany will host the Ferrari-Maserati World Finals from Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th October. The event brings the curtain down on the Group’s sporting season. On the event card will be the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy races for the Italian, European and American series of the one-make championship for the 360 Modena, as well as the Shell Historic Ferrari Maserati Challenge.

The weekend will also feature the finals of the first year of the Trofeo Vodafone Maserati Europe, which represents the Trident marque’s return to competition. Taking part in the last round of this series will be the French film director Luc Besson, driving alongside Rene Arnoux, who raced for Scuderia Ferrari from 1983 to 1985 and who already competed at the previous round in Monza.

Completing the spectacle over the weekend will be a demonstration of cars from Maranello’s F1 Client department as well as the current Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Taking part will be the official drivers, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello and the test drivers, Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa, who will tackle a special challenge at the wheel of the Maserati Trofeo cars based on the road-going Cambiocorsa Coupe.
