The James Bond Die Another Day 2002 Aston Martin Vanquish
Bonhams is delighted to offer for sale the V12 Vanquish, driven by Pierce Brosnan and featured in the latest blockbuster Die Another Day.
Chassis no. SCFAC13372B500172 is one of just three pristine 'hero' cars, driven by Brosnan on location in Iceland, and the only one for sale. The car is featured extensively in close-up shots of British secret agent 007 in pursuit of villain Gustav Graves. The specially coloured 'Tungsten Silver' Vanquish cuts a striking image as the two play cat and mouse across the frozen landscape, while the dashing Bond tries to save the world from Graves' solar powered satellite weapon.
Despite being driven by one maverick owner - 007 - in the film, the car is in perfect condition. It has all the specifications one would normally expect to find on a brand new Vanquish and it will be offered with a letter of authenticity from Aston Martin, confirming that the car was driven by Pierce Brosnan on the set of Die Another Day.
1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Chassis no. DB4/GT/0144/L
The queue to buy a DB4 had barely started to form when there was a surprise entry in the 12-lap support race for GT cars at the 1959 International Trophy meeting at Silverstone. It was Stirling Moss in a works Aston Martin GT. The car itself was a DB4 with five inches taken from the wheelbase, two seats only, a lower roof line, faired in headlights, 175lb. shed from its weight and 302bhp from a twin-plug version of the 3.7-litre straight-six engine. Stirling drove it in four races and won three of them.
An immaculately presented example of the iconic DB4GT, '0144/L' is one of only 30 cars produced in left-hand drive. Originally delivered to Mr. Abreu of Geneva, Switzerland on 4 August 1961, via Swiss main agents Garage Patthey.
The subject of a recent comprehensive restoration and repainted to resemble the period livery of the DB4GT prototype 'DP/199' that ran at Le Mans in 1959, piloted by the Swiss drivers Patthey and Calderari. Today the car is immaculately presented and has covered a genuine 65,000kms. An ideal entrant in Historic Rallies and Tours, this Aston proved its all-round capabilities by competing in the Colorado Grand in 2000.

Concours Standard 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkII Drophead Coupé
'AM300/1104' was the first DHC body made by Tickford under David Brown ownership. Purchased by the present owner in 1996 in partially restored condition, the car has since been completed to a very high standard costing in excess of £70,000. It has been rewarded by numerous awards including 2nd in Elite Class at the 2002 AMOC Upton House Concours d'Elegance.
1963 Aston Martin DB5
'DB5/1318/R' has been the subject of a recent comprehensive restoration. A full bare metal respray was undertaken in 2002, the engine has been rebuilt and enhanced to unleaded 4.2-litre Vantage specification, the gearbox recently overhauled and a new wiring loom fitted. Attractively finished in Goodwood green with burgundy leather, the car competed in AMOC sprints and races between 1996-2000 and achieved a silver medal on the 2000 London-Lisbon Rally.
1970 Aston Martin DB6 MkII Vantage
This late DB6 MkII Vantage has had only three owners from new, the second from 1971 - 1999. Finished in California Sage with tan leather, it has benefited from an unleaded conversion and appears to be in very good condition throughout.
1988 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
When launched in February 1977 Aston Martin claimed the V8 Vantage to be the fastest production vehicle in the world - something other supercar manufacturers found hard to disprove. This 1988 example is finished in Chichester blue with parchment leather. It has had only three previous owners, covered circa 45,000 miles and is offered with main-dealer service history.

3) 1957 / 59 Aston Martin DBR4/5 Grand Prix Development Engine - built by the Works racing department as a test engine for the 2.5-litre DBR4/5 Formula One Grand Prix car, this fascinating single-cylinder development engine, designed by Ted Cutting, features the 80 degree valve angle twin-plug cylinder head, twin overhead camshafts, twin Lucas magnetos, and single 48 DOM Weber, ultimately destined for the RB6 engine.
