Which of these game-changing supercars would you buy at Retromobile 2023?

The Selected Car Group is making quite the entrance at Retromobile 2023, bringing three spectacular supercars to wow onlookers and tempt collectors. Between their Lamborghini Reventón, Bugatti EB110, and Porsche Carrera GT, we don’t know which we would choose!

Now in its 47th year, Retromobile 2023 is shaping up to be a smash hit. The Selected Car Group are excited to attend for the first time, bringing with them some of the most sought after collectors car in the market today. Each piece of automotive sculpture has been carefully selected for Selected Car Group’s investment fund, due to their exceptional mileage and condition. Such a selection is seldom seen together, so you definitely won’t want to miss it!

Kicking things off, we have the notorious Lamborghini Reventón. This incredible machine was inspired by some of the most fierce engineering inventions of all time: the stealth aircraft F-117 Nighthawk and the tactical fighter F-15 Eagle. The influence of the Nighthawks' infamous Gray Ghost finish is immediately apparent when you look at the Reventón, its complex surfaces coated in mid opaque grey, factory finish paint. Of course, the parallels don’t end at the paint finish, and Lamborghini took further inspiration from the F-15 Eagle's immense power, equipping the Reventón with the now-legendary naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine. An automobile such as this, with so many unique features, was born to be a collector’s piece, something Lamborghini clearly understood. Production was limited to only 20 units of the coupe, with this specific car being number 11. With a current odometer reading of under 3000 km, this exceptional machine will embellish any car collection.

Next up, we have this magnificent Bugatti EB110. Significant in modern Bugatti history as the rebirth of the glorious marque the car itself was named in honour of Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday and, the EB110 was the first vehicle to roll off the assembly line at the infamous Italian factory in Campogalliano, close to the "automotive mecca" that is Modena . This exact car was number 15 of approximately only 84 GT models ever made. The EB110 is well recognised for appearing on posters in teen bedrooms around the globe, the majority of which were painted the iconic colour of Blu Bugatti. This car was fortunate enough to have been originally finished in the super sought after combination of Blu Bugatti with Grey Leather, and with only 17300 kilometres showing on the odometer, this highly desirable example is a must-have for every ambitious car collector.

Last but not least, The Selected Car Group will be displaying this fantastic Porsche Carrera GT, arguably one of Leipzig's finest creations. The Porsche Carrera GT is best known for pushing technological boundaries beyond any supercar of its era and still leaving the control of everything solely up to the talent and courage of the driver. And of course for its naturally aspirated, screaming 5.7-litre V10 engine, which was originally developed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This exact car is number 19 in a production run limited to 1270 units, and with under 1400 km on the clock, this outstanding example is good enough to shine in even the most prestigious collections.

This phenomenal trio of cars is only the tip of the iceberg for The Selected Car Group, and there is always a unique and varied selection of exceptional machines available from the team, many of which are sold before they ever reach the Classic Driver Market. So, if you’d like to discuss the cars you wish to own or if you have a special car you are considering selling, please get in touch with The Selected Car Group. Until then, the team at Selected Car Investment is looking forward to welcoming you at this year’s Retromobile from the 1st to the 5th of February.
