Remember when Tigers were prowling in Sebring?

Automobilist celebrates the story of the Porsche 906 at the Sebring 12 Hours with two new, striking artworks. You can now buy both limited-edition posters in the Classic Driver Shop.

Sometimes, a race car can turn into an icon without even crossing the finish line. In this case, the Porsche 906 driven by the flamboyant amateur Ed Hugus and his co-driver John Cannon at the 1967 Sebring 12 Hours retired after 138 laps, but was never forgotten due to it's characteristic “tiger” livery. Automobilist now remember this iconic racing Porsche with a limited-edition poster.

The second artwork also depicts a Porsche 906 that raced in Sebring, this time in 1970. The car, driven by Stephen Behr - better known as Yogi - and Merv Rosen, sported a red, white and blue livery - and the CGI artists at Automobilist have surpassed themselves in recreating the car in all its race-weathered glory.
