Don't miss these Hot Wheels and Watches from IWC Racing

IWC Schaffhausen and Hot Wheels have launched a limited edition ‘Racing Works’ set to celebrate their iconic Mercedes-Benz 300SL ‘Gullwing’ limited to 50 pieces, and there’s only one left…

For over five years IWC Schaffhausen have been the official time-keeper at Goodwood Members’ Meeting and in recent years their stunning Mercedes-Benz 300SL ‘Gullwing’ has become a crowd favourite at the hands of David Coulthard. This year the car was raced by Austrian racing driver, Laura Kraihamer. Quite a departure from her usual seat in modern endurance racing and DTM cars.

After a chance encounter with the design team at Hot Wheels, a plan was hatched to create a stunning limited-edition timepiece and model 300SL that comes packaged in its very own tool box. Unsurprisingly the demand was swift, and they have almost sold out already, but there’s one more chance to acquire this highly desirable collector’s item as the ‘number 1’ set is being auctioned for charity via Bonhams and you have until October 22nd to place your bids.

The Limited Edition 1:64 Hot Wheels™ Mercedes-Benz 300SL "Racing Works Edition" model is the most detailed the company has ever produced and pairs perfectly with the IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition "IWC x Hot Wheels™ Racing Works" with stunning chequered flag dial, titanium case and fabric strap.

The two items are presented in a specially customised metal toolbox together with International Guarantee, Instruction manual, bracelet exchange tool and a screw-driver, a virtual tour of the IWC Manufacture centre and signed gloves from Laura Kraihamer driving for the IWC Racing Team at the 78th Goodwood Members' Meeting!
