On 14-18 July, our friends from Schuler Auktionen in Zurich are holding a new edition of their famous art, antiques, vintage & lifestyle auctions. As always, we have been busy browsing the catalgoue and picking our favourite lots. And while it's no news that a 1980s Omega Speedmaster or an Eames Lobby Chair is always a good idea, we did not suspect how much we needed a Swiss military encryption device from the 1950s, a portable Mid-Century radiant heater that looks like an English sailing yacht or a Ettore Sottsass-designed Memphis fruit bowl in our lives. If we are getting too eccentric, just drop us a line. In the meantime, we'll keep browsing the medieval weapons section in the catalogue in search of the perfect battle axe.
