This Saturday sees the sale of some fine collectibles at Bonhams

On 17 October the Bonhams Goodwood Speedweek sale will take place offering 65 lots of automobilia and 95 cars. Here are our favourite collectibles.

Shouldn’t every house have a Steve McQueen Le Mans poster? We certainly think so, this is framed and ready to mount with an estimate starting at £2000. Make sure there is also space on the wall for a vintage Grand Prix poster, Bonhams are offering a 1957 Monaco poster in the imitable style of J. Ramel.

How about starting the Ferrari 275 build you always dreamed of with a ‘Nardi’ type steering wheel with Cavallino decorated horn push. Once that 275 is built, you will be wanting to campaign the car and the set of Bruce Halford’s racewear will be perfect for the paddock. Bruce was one of the last of the 1950s’ privateer racers, competing in nine World Championship Grands Prix between 1956 and 1960.

Lastly a Tim Layzell painting depicting ‘Hunt versus Lauda’ at the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix in Tim’s iconic style. Acrylic on canvas and signed by the artist on the lower left of the painting. Measuring 60 x 76cm and mounted within a white wooden frame. 60 further collectibles are available for your perusal in the full catalogue.
