Hintergrund Informationen über das BMW M3 Cabriolet

Das BMW M3 Cabriolet war Anfang der 90er Jahre das Maß aller Dinge, wenn es um pfeilschnelle 4 sitzige Cabriolets ging. Schon die Bezeichnung M3 war seiner Zeit ein Mythos, bedingt durch die unzähligen erfolgreichen Einsätze bei der Deutschen Tourenwagenmeisterschaft. Der BMW intern E30 genannte Sportwagen besticht auch heute noch durch seinen drehfreudigen Motor, ein sensationelles Fahrwerk, gepaart mit einem exakten Schaltgetriebe und einer hervorragenden und standfesten Bremsanlage. Der M3 unterscheidet sich von seinen E30 Serienbrüdern rein optisch auf den ersten Blick durch die dezenten Kotflügelverbreiterungen. Das M3 Cabriolet gab es in verschiedenen Motorvarianten, von der letzten Serie mit schlußendlich 215 PS wurden nur 476 Stck. gebaut und die meisten davon befinden sich in festen Sammlerhänden.

Historie des angebotenen BMW M3 Cabriolets

Das hier angebotene M3 Cabriolet stammt aus der letzten Serie und wurde 12.08.1992 in Passau dem ersten Besitzer übergeben. Sein ganzes Leben verbrachte dieses Fahrzeug im sonnigen Bayern. Ein durchgestempeltes Serviceheft belegt die niedrige Kilometerleistung von knapp 100.000 Km. Von Anfang an wurde dieser Wagen im Herbst eines jeden Jahres ab- und im darauf folgenden Frühjahr wieder angemeldet. Der alte uns vorliegende Kfz-Brief legt darüber Zeugnis ab. 2011 wurde er endgültig abgemeldet und einer renommierten Sammlung überführt und fortan nur noch sporadisch mit einer 07-Nummer bewegt.

Dieses bei BMW Garching handgefertigtes Cabriolet wurde ausgeliefert in der  Farbe 181 Diamantschwarz mit 319  Silver Extended Nappa Leder  und einem elektrischen Verdeck. Des Weiteren wurde es mit  Kerscher Dämpfer und ein Cecotto-Frontspoiler  ergänzt. Ein imponierender Auftritt. Eine klangvolle Stereoanlage mit CD Wechsel befindet sich genauso an Board, wie ein Windschott. Eine komplette Servicemappe mit allen Handbüchern und Serviceheft sind selbstverständlich auch im Lieferumfang und das durchgestempelte Serviceheft bestätigt die niedrige Laufleistung. Dieses Cabriolet zählt zu der Kategorie sehr gepflegt. Sämtliche Spaltmaße stimmen, nichts beschädigt. In vielen Bereichen ist der Wagen noch im Originallack. Motorhaube und Spoiler sind aber schon einmal leicht nachlackiert worden. Die Innenausstattung ist original und sehr gepflegt. Die erweiterte Lederausstattung (Türverkleidung, Mittelkonsole) ist ebenfalls ohne Tadel. Das elektrische Verdeck wurde von der Sattlerei Ballas/Köln inkl. Heckscheibe erneuert. Es öffnet und schließt perfekt.  Im Kofferraum befindet sich zusätzlich das Reserverad und ein komplettes Set Werkzeuge.

Dieser BMW ist ein perfektes Sammlerstück und ein Zeitzeuge der fantastischen BMW Motorsport Geschichte.

Background information about the BMW M3 Cabriolet

In the early 1990s, the BMW M3 Cabriolet was the measure of all things when it came to lightning-fast 4-seater convertibles. Even the name M3 was a myth of its time, due to the countless successful appearances in the German Touring Car Championship. The sports car, known internally by BMW as the E30, still impresses today with its high-revving engine, a sensational chassis, paired with an exact manual transmission and an excellent and stable braking system. At first glance, the M3 differs from its E30 series brothers purely optically through the subtle flared fenders. The M3 Cabriolet was available in different engine variants, from the last series with finally 215 hp only 476 units were produced. built and most of them are in permanent collectors hands.

History of the offered BMW M3 Cabriolet

The M3 Cabriolet offered here comes from the last series and was handed over to the first owner in Passau on August 12, 1992. This vehicle spent its entire life in sunny Bavaria. A stamped service booklet proves the low mileage of almost 100,000 km. From the beginning, this car was canceled in the autumn of each year and registered again the following spring. The old vehicle registration document that we have before us bears witness to this. In 2011 it was finally deregistered and transferred to a renowned collection and from now on only moved sporadically with an 07 number.

This convertible, handcrafted by BMW Garching, was delivered in the color 181 diamond black with 319 silver extended nappa leather and an electric hood. Furthermore, it was supplemented with a Kerscher springs and a Cecotto front spoiler. An impressive appearance. A sonorous stereo system with CD changer is just as on board as a wind shot. A complete service folder with all manuals and service booklet are of course also included in the scope of delivery and the stamped service booklet confirms the low mileage. This convertible belongs to the very neat category. All gaps are correct, nothing damaged. In many areas, the car is still in the original paint. The bonnet and spoiler have already been slightly repainted. The interior is original and very well maintained. The extended leather interior (door panel, center console) is also without blame. The electric hood was renewed by the saddlery Ballas / Cologne including the rear window. It opens and closes perfectly. In the trunk there is also the spare wheel and a complete set of tools.

This BMW is a perfect collector's item and a contemporary witness of the fantastic BMW Motorsport history.
