The Bugatti Chiron Sport – described by Bugatti as ‘The Ultimate Super Sports Car’. Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the Chiron Sport’s goal was to favour a track handling package setup without compromising on the luxurious character portrayed by the standard model. Boasting a firmer chassis and suspension setup with additional lightweight components over the standard Chiron, the handling dynamics have been refined and honed for track use, increasing agility. The firmer suspension coupled with upgraded damper technology grant the driver complete confidence when on track, with the car constantly providing feedback through the precise steering.

The headline for the Chiron Sport is weight saving. 18kg has been removed from the standard model through lighter wheel construction and a stiff carbon fibre anti-roll bar, which minimises understeer into corners. Any saving in weight makes a huge difference when a car is under load at high speed, which is exactly what the Chiron Sport was built for. These redesigned, lightweight components allow the Chiron Sport to be a more responsive car on track and with the torque vectoring feature introduced to the Sport, it handles like nothing else in its class. The W16 engine producing 1500hp launches the Chiron Sport from 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds, delivering inconceivable amounts of torque at the demand of your right foot. The four turbochargers mean power is available whenever you need it. The thinner glass between the cockpit and the engine allow the W16 symphony to be accentuated, with all four turbos adding to the drama of the 8.0L, 16-cylinder sound experience.

The exclusive ‘Noire Edition’ model was designed as a tribute to the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, created by Jean Bugatti, the eldest son of Ettore Bugatti. Only four were ever built, with one owned by Jean Bugatti himself. This legendary car has disappeared since the Second World War and it has since been stated that if found, it would be valued at over €100 million. Being 1 of 20 ever built, the Chiron Noire receives black exposed carbon fibre bodywork, with the front half receiving a matt finish whilst the rear features a traditional gloss finish. This has created an elegant and rare design, one that captures the attention of anyone fortunate enough to lay eyes upon it. ‘Noire’ inscription adorns the exterior side panel and door sill whilst a carbon fibre badge inlaid into the centre console, reminds you that you are part of a limited production.
