Description

The Lamborghini Diablo SV (Super Veloce) was a limited edition model with approximately 100 units made, specifically designed to bring a more dynamic driving experience for the more enthusiastic Diablo customer.

To this end the standard Diablo's 4 wheel drive system was replaced with a rear wheel drive configuration and the 5.7 litre V12 engine was presented in a higher state of tune. The bare performance figures of 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 202mph do not convey the true drama of driving this proper old school supercar.

Differentiating features over a standard Diablo include an engine lid capped by the same scoops as the SE30 Jota model, larger diameter front brakes and a corresponding increase in front wheel size to 18 inches. An adjustable rear spoiler was installed as standard equipment and could be color-matched to the car body. Other exterior changes included black tail lamp surrounds, repositioned rear fog and reverse lamps as on the SE30, dual front fog lamps (rather than the quad style found on all previous models), an extra set of front brake cooling ducts, and one could order highly prominent optional "SV" decals for the sides of the car.

Our car has had a cossetted life and when new and was ordered without SV decals and finished in Silver, joined a discerning owner's collection which included a Mclaren F1 GTR. It has since had a few enthusiastic owners, all of whom have maintained the car correctly, as substantiated by the SV's fully documented service history. The car was provided with a fresh MOT on the 4th of January 2021 with 26882 kms recorded from new (All UK supplied SVs had speedometers reading in kilometres).

Ready for an enthusiastic new custodian who wants a genuine "analogue" driving experience.
