Description

The Aston Martin DB2/4 was launched at the 1953 London Motor show in 1953, following the success of the DB2, but with four seats and a larger luggage area and fold-down rear seats. Built from October 1953 to October 1955 and 565 units built in total. The new car price in 1953 was £1,850 and rising to £1,925 plus tax in 1954.

This very delightful Aston Martin DB2/4 was supplied new by Aston Martin dealer Charles Sidney Ltd to Mr. Geoffrey S.G. Shindler Esq of Sheffield on 1st October 1955.

The car's registration number then was VWE 150 which it is today and the specification was as described on the original build record: Moonbeam Grey with Red leather piped grey interior with Grey carpets.

In very good condition with some wonderful history to support the splendid way in which the car has been looked after over the years. Some lovely touches have been added over the years which makes the car so personal and tells a great story.

With the VB6E Vantage engine and the great history has to make this car an ideal motor car for a real enthusiast.

The current owner purchased the car in 1998 from Mr. Graham Watkins Esq and from the supporting documents and the current condition he really did make sure the car was correct in every way.

Ideal car for touring and European rallies.
