Equipped with a 4.0-litre flat-sixproducing 500bhp in a body that developed more than double the downforce of the 997 GT3RS 4.0, the 991 boasted rear-axle steering, a seven-speed PDK gearbox and huge 21" rear wheels borrowed from the 918 Spyder. It featured unique front bumperlouvres, rear side-quarter intakes, and a large adjustable rear wing. Lightweight materials such as carbon fibre were used for the bumpers, engine cover and bonnet and the roof wasmagnesium in an effort to render the GT3 RS as svelte as possible, not entirely successful as the resultwas the biggest, widest and heaviest RS ever, but that didn't matter. The car was quicker, faster and more efficient than ever before too, with a 'Ring lap time of 7 minutes 20 seconds confirming its status as the most accomplished RS ever and about as close to a'Cup' car as you were going to find. The GT3RS is rocket-ship quickwith 8,250rpm in second gear providing 73mph and the same in third propelling you to a licence-departing 102mph, very impressive, particularly with four more gears to go. Realistically this is a 'racer' for the road but anyone in the market for a 991 GT3 Rs will be fully aware of this. This right-hand drive, UK-supplied, C-16example was supplied new to our vendor in 2016 by Porsche Centre Wolverhampton and has covered a mere 3,800 miles. It's finished in PureWhite with a Black interior lifted byLava Orange Accents on the front seats which werean optional extra at the time. The RS was spec'd with6,700 pounds of extras including 643 Sport Chrono Package, T23 Porsche Communication Management including Navigation module, 619 Mobile phone preparation, 579 Six-point passenger seat harnessto name just a few, and the full specification will besupplied with the car. The original order form and invoice are inthehistory file alongsidethe dealer book pack with its service book correctly stampedby Porsche Centre Wolverhampton. The car benefits from having its most recent servicein September of this year (2020), again by Porsche Wolverhampton with an accompanying bill of 1,600, so it'sraring to go and be enjoyed by itsnext custodian. This stunning RS has been cosseted all its life and at this tiny mileage and in this fabulous condition represents a great opportunity to explorethe capabilities of one of Porsche's most focused road cars ever.2015 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 RShttps://youtu.be/5zxNgrXdeCkfalse
