Description

- Registered in 1968 in La Spezia, a single owner who first used it and then locked it up in a garage for 30 years until 2018, when it was recovered and completely restored. A rare first series, still with all the distinctive features such as the proboscis hose air filter, the interior and the specific bumpers and rear lights with wider reflectors. Original number plates and logbook. The Alfa Romeo heritage certificate is present.
- Beech wood colour with wild boar interior, completely restored without any expense, with the invoices and photo book available. The bodywork was totally stripped of paint and checked on the template, the few metal sheets that that showed a principle of corrosion was replaced and repainted in its original colour. Seats are completely original and exceptionally well preserved, as well as the carpet, specific for the first series and unobtainable in its original anthracite colour. The dashboard and plastics are original and perfectly intact, the wooden parts were restored.
- Mechanically perfect, the engine was stripped and the condition of the pistons made it possible to note that the ca. 29,000km on the clock are authentic. However, the bands and bushings were replaced. All bushings, steering heads and silent blocks of the suspension were replaced, and the gearbox was checked and the braking system was completely overhauled. The clutch is new, as are the tyres.
- A masterpiece by Bertone and the finest version of the Giulia GTs, thanks to the refined 1750 twin-shaft, this car is without doubt the most beautiful on the market in terms of colour combination, competition documentation and restoration.
