Description

A very original and unmolested Porsche 911 3.2 Commemorative Edition.

The Commemorative Edition, or ‘Jubilee’ was built to celebrate the production of the 250,000th 911, the options list was specified by Ferry Porsche himself as his swansong and such was the significance of his input the front seats carry his signature on both headrests.
On top of the obvious specification listed above, it also features the short gear-lever first seen on the Club Sport and is based on the 3.2 Sport Equipment package. All Commemorative Editions featured ‘model delete’ on the engine lid.
This special edition was supplied with a huge specification which featured; the unique Diamond Blue Metallic paint, Silver Blue ruffled leather, Sports Dampers, Short shift kit, electric sunroof, painted wheels and fully electric seats.

The original service book and supporting invoices show that the car has been consistently maintained throughout its 94,500 miles by a mixture of Porsche main dealers and specialists. Nearly every MOT is present in the file too.

This is not only a useable car in which to fully appreciate the achievements of Porsche, it was signed off by Ferry Porsche and is also as likely an investment as any, having been “under the radar” for far too long.

There were only 50 UK supplied Commemorative Editions, this being 1 of only 30 coupés, and it drives beautifully.

“I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself” – Ferry Porsche.
