This E-type was bought and restored by us over a period of three years. Bought from California, where it has been sitting since 1982.
When we disassembled the car it became very clear that this was a unique example! Absolutely no signs of rust or damage and original panels and spotwelds all around. Only one simple respray was performed in the past and behind all chrome parts and rubbers was the original paint still visible. The colorcombination that is confirmed by the Heritage certificate is simply stunning: Opalescent dark green metallic with suède green interior.
The body was completely stripped to bare metal and received an extensive KTL anti-rust bath. Every nut and bolt was taken apart and all mechanical parts were overhauled like engine, gearbox, IRS unit, etc. etc. Als a new long ratio diff was placed as well as other upgrades such as aluminium radiator with Kenlowe fan, hightorque starter and stainless steel exhaust system.
The interior and softtop are made by one of Hollands leading specialists, using only the best materials such as Scottish leather and Sonnenland hood material. This car also comes with an original factory hardtop in body colour. It also comes with a full dossier of pictures and invoices of the restoration.
