Description

Originally built as a Mulliner Park Ward convertible in 1966. In 1971 chassis BC118XE then owner decided he wished it was a four door convertible with more interesting and unusual coachwork to match his other Bentleys (including a Speed Six which he had re-bodied to his own design.)
The work was entrusted to "FLM Panelcraft" who constructed the lightweight all aluminium coachwork with fully disappearing power hood to the owners design in the extravagant style of Chapron, and carried out to the highest possible standards, the costs of which were believed to have been in excess of £400,000. It was used until 1978 when it was taken off the road and stored until it was purchased eight years ago and a full restoration was commenced all of which is detailed in a comprehensive history file.
It has never been seen at any events or shows since the early seventies and this is the first time BC118XE has been offered on the open market. A unique opportunity to acquire a four door Continental S3 convertible, that comes with all its small and large tools and original factory handbooks. A unique Bentley.
