An outstanding example from the model’s final year, this Porsche 356 C Coupe displays excellent preservation and uncommon originality, including its matching-numbers engine and gearbox. According to the consignor, the car retains its original paint, upholstery, floors, and equipment. Per its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, it was completed on November 27, 1964, finished in Light Ivory paint over red leatherette upholstery, and equipped with options including an exterior mirror, tinted glass, red coco floor mats, and chrome horn ring.

Equipped with rare Porsche (Delanair) air conditioning, the 356 C was sold new by Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, Florida. Its provenance includes Troy W. Crawford, who purchased the Porsche new, then J.A. McCoy, who acquired the car in August 1972 and stored it from 1978 to October 2014, when he sold it to Gerry T. Sutterfield, the pioneering Porsche collector. Sutterfield intended to use the car on driving tours, but instead drove it only sparingly, maintaining its originality and integrity and performing some mechanical work. Approximately 50,500 miles have been accumulated – with only 200 since 1978. A true benchmark of originality, this 356 C includes its original manual, tool kit, jack, copy of air-conditioning brochure, and much more.
