This fantastic Continental T is a desirable second series car and so features the updated more powerful 420bhp engine together with many detail updates, the most obvious visual cue being the new seat design incorporating the seat belt. This example is finished to a great unique factory specification and has been known to us since 2009. It has covered 23,800 miles with a full history and remains in great shape throughout with a freshness lacking in most examples.

Finished in Sapphire Black with a matching two tone Sapphire Black and grey leather interior with matching Black Sapphire tinted birds eye maple wood the T looks both discreet and stylish. Much thought clearly went into the look of the car which was originally ordered through Bentley main dealer JCT600 based in Leeds.

It was supplied and registered on the 1st November 1999 and remained with the original family who commissioned the car until 2009 at which point 13,800 miles had been covered. During this period the T was correctly maintained by Ron Stratton, the Bentley dealer for Cheshire and later by Bentley Manchester who took over the franchise. Ten services were completed in this first ten years as documented in the original stamped maintenance book.

In 2009 I purchased the Bentley from Bentley Manchester who has taken the car in part exchange for a new Bentley. On viewing the car presented extremely well, has clearly been well looked after and used very carefully as it was in virtually unmarked original condition. Following a full inspection by the dealer I collected the car and sold it very quickly without the need for marketing to a regular client.

Some months later I repurchased the Bentley and once again sold it quickly following a service to another good customer who has subsequently built a notable private collection. At this point the mileage had increased by just a few hundred miles.

In 2012 I bought the T back again with 18,000 miles recorded. I sold it for the third time the following year to a Zurich based English collector with a significant collection. He retained the T until 2016, the mileage rising to 22,000 miles in this period. Phantom Motor Cars, a well regarded Bentley specialist were entrusted with maintenance which was completed without compromise as invoicing on file amounting to in excess of £25,000 details.

In 2016 the second collectors to whom I had sold the T re purchased it and has retained it to date, the mileage rising to the 23,800 recorded today.

This great Continental T remains in exceptional original condition throughout, it smells like a new example inside and drives as one would expect of a well maintained low mileage late car. It comes with all books, tools, a substantial history file, original sheepskin rugs and fitted car cover,
