We have a superbly preserved 1995 BMW M5 3.8 E34 Touring. This is a very rare car because of the optional fitted 6-speed manual gearbox. Only 209 were ever made with the 6-speed manual. Produced on the 2nd January 1995 and supplied to a client in Germany. It has a very upmarket ‘OxfordGrun’ metallic finish with a ‘Hurrican-Silbergrau’ cloth and alcantara interior trim. This BMW has 168,876 km on the clock and remains in a perfectly and superbly original well looked-after condition. The fine bodywork has straight and well-aligned body panels. In the main the good quality paintwork is original. The original underbody is totally sound and rust-free. Cars after 1992 were fitted with larger 3.8 blocks producing in excess of 341 Hp instead of the previous 3.5 engine. At a later date in May 1994 the M-Motorsport division changed the rims due to concerns with excess brake heat development. The brakes were also enlarged. This BMW stands on their original 18-inch ‘Style 37 M-Parallel’ wheels. This makes this one of the last and therefore most desirable examples around! This BMW is richly fitted out with many factory- installed items. These include the double sunroof, cruise control, a HiFi system, leather multifunctional M-sports steering wheel, headlight washers and automatic climate control amongst many other items. The low production run and fact that this car is one of the last hand-built M5’s and one of the very last cars produced elevates this particular M-Motorsport division BMW’s appeal to stratospheric heights! A truly unique car!
