Colin McRae’s father Jimmy and brother Alister have both forged their own successful careers in rallying, but who is quicker on the dirt today? Being the fortunate custodians of the Subaru Impreza with which Colin clinched his first WRC-era victory, the 1997 Safari Rally in Kenya, our friends at Girardo & Co. decided to head to Wales to find out. They even called up Colin’s old co-driver Nicky Grist and persuaded him to strap into ‘P8 WRC’ and read the pace notes one more time.
