This is a low milage, very original, ‘L’ model Dino. It is fully sorted and runs strong with records from new and no rust or damage; includes books, tools, and jack.
The ‘L’ model is a continuation of the 206 Dino. It has a steel body instead of the aluminum body on the 206 and a steel block 2.4 liter 195 horsepower motor instead of the aluminum block 2.0 liter. The rest of the car is essentially the same as the 206 including the interior, aluminum panels, and knock-off wheels. This car was taken down to bare metal in 1992 and painted Rosso Dino 20-R-350 Salachi by Carrera Auto Body in San Diego, CA. The restoration is fully documented with photos and receipts. Air conditioning was added during the restoration and actually works well. This Dino is used on the back roads of Santa Barbara and some trips to Northern California.
