The 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback featured here is finished in the stunning factory color combination of Vintage Burgundy metallic over a black interior. This particular example was completed at the San Jose, California, factory on January 20th, 1965 and was dispatched soon after to Los Angeles, California. It is believed that this Mustang Fastback spent the entire early portion of its life in California before coming to the dry state of Nevada in the early 2000’s and just recently was released from a small private collection in Texas. Today, this Mustang presents wonderfully, having previously been subject to a thorough restoration. The date code correct 289ci V8 engine is still in place and has been upgraded to A-code specifications with a four barrel carburetor and intake.
