Don’t miss out on one of these psychedelic TAG Heuer Carreras

TAG Heuer’s official customising house Bamford Watch Department has teamed up with the contemporary jewellery company Black Badger to create 10 special edition Carreras with wild patterned dials made from, bizarrely, old car paint…

Fascinating Fordite

Fordite is a new material that’s formed by a build-up of overspray in the paint bays of car factories over a number of years. When it’s cut or sanded, it reveals incredible organic patterns comprising hundreds of layers of different coloured paint. And it’s this exciting new material that Bamford Watch Department and Black Badger have chosen for the dials of their special edition TAG Heuer Carreras. The bold and wildly different dials are contrasted with a stealthy black titanium coating on the case and bracelet. Judging by Bamford’s website, there are still a handful of these BWD x Black Badger ‘Fordite’ TAG Heuer Carreras left, so if you’re interested in adding some colour to your wrist, you better act quick.
