Designed by Ian Callum the Aston Martin DB7 was produced from 1994 through to 2004. Featuring initially a supercharged 6 cylinder and then updated with a V12 engine.

The DB7 was launched at the 1993 Geneva Salon, and thanks to styling from Keith Helfet and Ian Callum, the DB7 looked beautiful. So – it stole the show, and met with critical acclaim. But it wasn’t up to scratch in some areas such as ergonomics, build quality and engine note. Series 2 cars were launched in 1996, and were a big improvement.

In 1999, the more powerful DB7 V12 Vantage was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. Its 5.9 litre, 48-valve, V12 engine produced 420 brake horse power fed through either a TREMEC T-56 six-speed manual or a ZF 5HP30 five-speed automatic gearbox. Aston Martin claimed it had a top speed of 165 mph with the automatic gearbox, and would accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

In addition to the new powertrain the Vantage model had more aggressive styling, with a bigger front grille, new fog/side/indicator lights and imposing 18” wheels. The interior leather trim was cut and sewn at a special trim shop at Newport Pagnell along with Wilton Carpet for the flooring and choice of wood veneer or carbon fibre facia panels.

The DB7 Vantage had real worldwide appeal and set new standards of power, refinement and reliability for handmade luxury sports cars.

ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC EXAMPLE

This specific Aston Martin DB7 is one of the more serious cars. It is the last series made and the car is a so-called Vantage, equipped with the very strong and reliable 6.0 litre 12 cylinder engine which produces 420 horsepower.

The car has been bought in 2009 by Kroymans Aston Martin which is 1 of the 2 Aston Martin dealers in Holland. Kroymans imported the Aston Martin from the United States and made the car ready for the European roads including a change of the miles to kilometers indicator.
Everything is detailed concerning the trip to Europe and alle papers are coming with the car.

The Aston Martin is currently owned by a gentlemen who has the wish to change to another Aston Martin which was owned by a friend of his who unfortunately passed away recently.

Recently the Aston Martin has undergone a serious service whereby necessary parts have been checked and eventually renewed. Invoices as well as the rest of the history is with the car.

CONDITION EXTERIOR

Due to the low kilometers, the Aston is in a wonderfull and impressive condition. It really is a collectors example in a unique condtion.

The color combination is extremely nice, the exterior color is Light Gray and the interior color is Pacific Blue Connolly Leather.

Featuring the reliable and powerful 5.9 litre V12 this Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante produces 313kw and 540Nm from its Cosworth developed engine. Performance figures of 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds for the automatic allow this to be a British bruit if required.

CONDITION INTERIOR

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

The DB7 has always been an elegant and graceful design and an update in 1999 brought revised exterior and interior styling and gave a more masculine but refined look to the DB7 the V12 engine, bigger Brembo brakes, uprated suspension and double wishbones in the rear gave the car even greater useable performance.

The fantastic machine under the bonnet will be temped by the automatic gearbox and as an option this DB7 has the possibility to shift the gears on the steering wheel.

The Aston Martin DB7 is really a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing. It is amazing!

The car comes with all its books, original tool kit, the fold up safety triangle and even an Aston Martin puncture kit.

A great combination of strong engine performance and easy to use automatic gearbox makes this a great every day companion or comfortable weekend cruiser.
