When Enzo Ferrari stalled on a deal to let Ford take control of his company in the early 1960s, Henry Ford II was, understandably, furious. But rather than resting on his laurels, he vowed to go and defeat Ferrari at Le Mans with his own car – the GT40. The thrilling story is now being retold in a new feature film, starring Academy Award winners Matt Damon (playing Carroll Shelby) and Christian Bale (as the British racing driver Ken Miles). Ford v Ferrari will be released on 15 November 2019 and is a flick you’re really not going to want to miss.
