Engine no. 7R 12803-9 Produced on 18 May 1970 and immediately exported to the USA, this car was sold new by British Leyland of New York. Then imported into Italy in 2010 and just two owners since. It had been with its current owner since 2015.
Completely restored in Italy upon importation.
Its color scheme of black over red interiors is correct for the year and model, and the hood, respecting the original, is in black mohair wool. Car originally produced in Signal Red, with a black hood and black interiors.
The car has covered around 55,000 miles (approximately 34,300 km) since its restoration. It is accompanied by numerous invoices documenting maintenance work, both ordinary and extraordinary, done from 2016 to today. It has always been maintained with the utmost care and with no expense spared.
It still has its original engine.
Engine, chassis, interiors, bodywork and paintwork are all in excellent condition. The car is ready to be driven and, if desired, it could also be exhibited at concours d’elegance events.
It wears UK-made Dunlop SP Sport Aquajet tires, of the correct type, which are still fresh, having covered less than 1,000 km. It had a period-correct Moto-Lita steering wheel.
Awarded the ASI Targa Oro, this car also holds the Certificate of Historical Importance issued by Jaguar Heritage.
