Offered for sale is a 1976 Mercedes Benz W116 450SE Class automatic that has been with the current owner for a number of years and comes with a good history file. The first of the 'S' Class luxury saloons. In 1973 the 'Sonderklasse' range was expanded by the addition of the 450SE and the, 100 mm longer, 450SEL. With 225 bhp and a very luxurious interior these cars were the flagships of the Mercedes saloon car range.

This, 1976 automatic 450SE is, quite simply, in very good condition. The Green paintwork appears with good panel gaps and the chrome, brightwork, and wheel trims all sparkle. The interior is finished in Beige and appears in very good order from the photographs. The vendor tells us that the car is “Effortless to drive and the engine is smooth with lots of power”. It has a good history file. This lovely old Mercedes has been well cared for by its owners and is an attractive car ready for its new owner.
