Description

This Rolls-Royce was once owned by Hiroshi Yamauchi, the great-grandson of the founder of Nintendo. Due to the success of the portable game computer and games such as Super Mario Bros and Zelda in the 1980s, he could afford this Rolls-Royce. Because of this success, he was one of the richest entrepreneurs in Japan. In this period of 1982-1987 only 37 examples were built as stretch limo, 31 of which were LHD. Characteristic for this copy are the extended front doors and the part between the front and rear doors which is unique, with the other stretch limos this intermediate piece is missing. The car was brought to the Netherlands about 8 years ago to function as a VIP Limousine service, but the door panels were removed due to a defect in the electrically operated side windows and due to a lack of time the car unfortunately never drove again. Car is technically in good condition and with just 21,000 km just run. It has been mechanically overhauled, the hydraulic system has been done, it has new spring bulbs, 2 new batteries have been installed, it has been repainted and the trunk has been refurbished. Part of the wiring must be done to make the electric windows work better, among other things. The car has no rust anywhere and all parts of the interior are present. The car was originally delivered new to Japan. To get a good impression of the lot, we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
